Living with Chickens

Last week I had the pleasure of staying with some friends (the Daredevil Chicken Club) In Toronto. I was in town for an even conference, and spent two of the three nights i was in town with Jonathan and Annie.

I'd met them at the Kingston Busker Festival. First met Annie who was performing Svetlana, a hilarious translevanian acrobat. We were fast friends, and spent the festival hanging out with Paul (Trulee Odd.) Jonathan (her husband) was performing as one of the Blue Man show in TO, and he came into Ktown for the weekend.. Was great meeting him . we bonded quick! in no time we were chugging 4L of pop with no pants on.

It was cool crashing in the Chicken office, and always great seeing good friends. As it turns out Jon went to clown college with one of my good friends - Jesse! It's a small world! ( I picked Jess out on his CLown College Grad picture)

My last night in town they invited me to have beers with the gang from the Blue show. It was cool meeting the cast and crew - a great bunch of people. The highlight (or lowlight for Annie) was when Jon put a wooden stir stick way far up his nose. Annie was all like "no don't do it.. no Jon" but being the "crowd pleaser" he is he did it. He then repeated his gross out and the stick came out of his nose with a big loogie on the end.. like a little piece of brain. Wicked. I got some photos on my phone (not of the loogie though.) will post soon.. everyone must see.

We then squirted lemons in the eyes.. although it didnt feel right as there was no tequila involved. The lemon wasn't as bad as i thought it would be..

All told a fun trip. And even got sum work done too!
